What can I say, another looong break, 2 months, it has been a tough sad summer for me and I am still trying to recover. Fortunately there are still colors around and I made some sweet memories with them. Here is one very very blue sunset. I liked taking photos in this bay and shipyard, the texture, shapes and colors at the background made it for me : )

Here is me looking towards east in deep thoughts... We visited relatives in Riomaggiore around mid June, you will see the other main reason at the end of the post. Riomaggiore is an old fisherman village, very famous worldwide in the last decade, especially by Americans. It is the last village of the Cinque (5) Terre region, the other important one is Vernazza and I personally like Monterosso too, it is bigger and you have more alternatives for food/cafe/shopping etc. If you dont have plenty of time to visit all 5, I would recommend Vernazza/Riomaggiore/Monterosso in priority order, the other two are Manarola and Corniglia. The quickest way to visit them is by train which stops in all of them unlike the boat which is the second option, or you can use water taxi. Moving by car among the 5 villages and parking near the village is not so easy, especially in high season. Except Monterosso the other 4 villages are on steep hills. The train ride is fun going inside tunnels next to cliffs. If anyone needs more advice/tips, feel free to contact me on comments and I will do my best to help. Now I let the photos doing all talking ...

Hello from Florence streets, these photos were taken last week during Pitti show. As some of you might know Sartorialist and many other important bloggers & fashionistas were in town and streets of Florence were packed with fashion business people enjoying aperitivo at new season shows of brands. We were invited to one event and as usual jumped on our bikes and took these photos, I think this explains the name of the post : )

I love cobalt and I love grey so here is my combination of two on a cool June day, I hope this is the last post me wearing a jacket for the next few months, summer can start for good : ) And this was the opening of my new in cobalt pistol boots for which I have strong feelings : )))
