Some of you asked me where we stayed in Provence, so I wanted to make a dedicated post for it. We stayed in the same room 6 years ago and I don't remember any minty conditions from that time, maybe because it was cooler in May and we didn't walk much in the garden/pool area and also we were busy bees discovering Provence using the hotel facilities at minimum. So when we arrived this time and had a discovery walk around, I got so excited about the mint factor, you might know how much I love this color, and I had even packed some minty stuff to wear, I love this kind of coincidences : )

I made it! I am posting again : ) I can make a long list of excuses : instagram sharing satisfaction, summer laziness, avoiding computer's heat in these boiling days, work stress, too many back and forths between cities meaning also limited internet access, more activities outdoor... You know what I am talking about :)
So where were we, I think I said next post would be St Tropez and here it is. Just to refresh memories, we were there at the end of June and I was hoping to enjoy the beach as well, so I had my flamingo swimsuit under my white outfit but it was quite windy that day, so we didn't feel the need to jump in water.
This was our second time visiting the town, and we were more impressed by it this time, it is bigger than we remembered. Anyway, let's start the photo tour.
So first, like Cafe de Flore&Paris, Caffe Florian&Venice, Caffe Greco&Roma couples, there is Senequier&St Tropez which you can't pass by without noticing. It says I am here with its lovely red overdose : )

I have always loved lavender, have lovely childhood memories of it, its delicate look, smell and color make me happy. And it is one of the reasons why I love purple/lilac color so much. My lavender love grew even more when we lived in New Zealand where we had the chance to visit a lavender farm in fool bloom, that was the time I said I have to experience this in the biggest proportions in its well known land, Provence. Some years back, I visited Nice for 3 years in a row for work reasons, and had some extended weekends in Provence regions in search of lavenders, but those trips were always in late May and the fields were green still. So this year finally, I made my dream come true by organizing our holiday in Provence at the end of June.
Although this post is about my lavender happiness, and not about an outfit, I want to share the story of the dress. For my long waited dream meeting with lavender fields, I wanted to dress in a special way, I wanted it to be romantic ( no tourist outfit, no short and no tshirt ) but it had to be plain, nothing fancy, no pattern etc. I have been searching for a lace/crochet white/beige sundress online and in shops, but no success. And few days before we left for Provence, while waiting for the bus and thinking about Provence, I had a look at the local shop window behind me and saw this mint dress in lightest cotton and it costed nothing, vivaaa : ) As some of you know very well from my instagram sharings, I am a huge fan of mint, and when it is paired with lilac/purple I am all smileys : ) So that is the story of the dress. And some purple and mint accessories, Voila, I am ready for lavender dream : ))
